Bit of a splurge. My lovely sil is ordering me high quality, custom printed stadium cups. She's selling them to me at cost instead of at retail value, but you have to order 250. But it's also everyone's drinking cups for the day. I'll be putting out gold and silver what lies for guests to write their names on the cups

I'm some what splurging in this area! Instead of normal and plain wedding favors I wanted too do something different! So my plan is to write a "book about us" and pass them out as wedding favors I think it is something someone would actually keep instead of being the normal little treat bags that everyone takes and then throws in there car on the way home and then gets forgot about! To me this is more meaningful and am hoping guests will appreciate it more! But because of this I am assuming it may be a little more costly then ur normal favors!

We are doing a candy bar. Not sure what else if anything else. I would say we are trying to save on this one.

We are doing a candy buffet and a photo booth where guests will be able to take home magnets with their photos on them! We are also debating doing little jars of locally made honey but that will depend if it fits into the budget or not!

I was thinking to either buy the favors or become crafty with it.

I am not that far into the wedding planning yet to decide. lol

Save. We're going to have a photo booth with take-home photos, and I'm going to make people's names cut out of vinyl for their plates, which they'll be able to take home and stick on stuff as they want.

We produce maple syrup on our property as a hobby. We only make as much as the snow allows us to access the trees in our sugarbush, we ended up with about 90L of finished product last season. We filled little jars (cost less than 80 cents per favor) with the first batch of the season. We love our syrup and love producing it! It's something that we are both happy to share with our loved ones!

Now to decide on a tag or label and how to decorate the bottles!

Save. I originally didn't want to do favours at all, because I find they're often left behind, but my fiancé wanted to do something small at least. We're going to make our own! We're thinking about doing Hershey's kisses, with a little tag that says "Hugs & Kisses, from the Mr. and Mrs."

Hi Emma, you should feel that your favours are not as good as the next person's. I think mini soaps are lovely. You're thanking them by serving them food and drinks. It's a very nice favour.

I like it, Sasha. We're giving jars of homemade apple butter. The jars are a little larger than this picture.

I want to save, but everything looks so expensive! We wanted something useful, so I was thinking a set of espresso cups (2) but I've been shopping around, and they're like 5$ each! We're approximately 200 guests ... that's wayyyy over budget and I'm not willing to go that extra.

We've been looking at mini soap bars from etsy shops! Everyone needs soap and we intend to wrap the with a label saying "Thank you" along with our names and the date. You can get mini soaps for as low as $0.98 plus shipping. Spending $100 plus shipping and wrapping/label supplies sounds like a better deal to me (a cheap, very young bride). If I could I'd love to thank my guests more and splurge.

Haven't actually thought about favours in full. It's not at the top of our list, so probably won't be a splurge item
