Splurge or Save: Photography?

I was ready to splurge, and I found a good deal on an amazing photographer. Compared to others in our area she is a save, but I still went slightly over my initial budget (that I adjusted once I started seeing how pricey everyone was!)

Definitely splurge pictures and videos are very important to us

Splurge! We found just what we were looking for.

This is a surprise save. A friend, who is a professional photographer has offered to photograph our wedding as a gift!

Splurge! Me and my FH agreed this was an area to splurge on. Second photographer, 10 hours coverage...but they added in an engagement shoot and a photobooth to the package.

I'm gonna say neither. We found a photographer who's got multi-thousand dollar skills, but is only charging us $1850 for the package. She has a full time Monday to Friday job, so her photography is on top of that.

Our engagement photos were fantastic, and I can't wait to see take/see our wedding photos!

We are not splurging for videography though. We'll be setting up a tripod to catch the ceremony, speeches and first dance.

Splurge to an extent! I have seen some photographers charge around $10,000 for their wedding packages and I don't see myself spending that much. But wedding photos are so important. You want to be able to look back on this day with such pride and joy.

Oh 100% splurge!! I love the photos my photographer took for our engagement session! I would do it all over again!! If I was back planning!

I had no problem spending on a photographer. I always knew who our photographer would be and I knew it would be pricey! But it will be well worth it.

We ended up saving because a friend of mine does professional wedding photos ❤

We ended up with an all inclusive package so photography was included. It would be worth it to splurge but only to an extent. Everyone I know only really looked at their photos when they first received them but very rarely since.

Splurge, we want every moment to be captured and saved beautifully by a professional photographer.

I LOVE pictures and will have a photographer but in saying that we all are photographers nowadays I may just set up a hash tag and people can post any "wedding" photo's that way all in one album.

SAVE! I can bet that you will have many family and friends attending the wedding that dabble with photography. Their photos will be just as good! I plan to have to most basic package from the professional

Splurge. The wedding only last a day but the photos will last a lifetime. It is very important to me to have tons of pictures and beautifuk ones.

I don't think we have much of a choice here, it's all expensive but we did hire a photographer friend to do the photos so we got a better deal than most.

Splurge. You only get married once, and after the actual day of your wedding, all you'll have is memories! The investment in documenting everything properly is important to my fiancé and I.

Although we were able to find a fantastic photographer for a great price, we did end up spending slightly over what we'd originally budgeted. It's worth it! We can't wait to see what she's able to do for us on the day of!

I'd say middle of the road. Splurge if need be. You want nice pictures
