That's a very interesting and unique idea. Check out Value Village, Varage Sale, Salvation Army, and Bibles for Missions.

Save. I don't want a bunch of left over favors so we're just going to give out mints or gum

I'm going to try to save, but I think I'll end up splurging. I was going to give out mason jars with chalkboard labels on them, but it seemed too simple and didn't have a lot of our personality. So now we're going to do a "blind date with a book" table. We're going to find some books we'd recommend at used bookstores and thrift shops and we'll wrap them in brown paper and write a brief description and "recommended by..." (bride, groom, or both). My only concern is finding the books we love at good prices!

Save. We wanted something different but not super expensive. My fiance, brother and brother in law brew beer together, so we'll be doing that.

Home made favors! (Cheaper than buying them)!

A bit tedious to make, but so unique to us!

Somewhere in the middle. We want them to be useful to some extent, but the idea of what is still floating in limbo.

Our goal is to save with the favours. We'll be giving out frames that will also be used as the place cards.

Save. We'll be taking the budget we would have used for favours and donating it in lieu.

Save. We aren't even doing favours. We are discussing doing a donation in lieu, but that will be it.

Splurge - The favours are something I went back and forth on forever, I did not want to spend a lot but in the end, what i wanted to do was just an expensive thing to have made. I ordered 130 raspberry jam favours, in 125ml jars. I found a woman who makes the jam herself, and she is charging about $480 total. I am decorating the jars myself so I am saving there, but it was expensive. I just love how the jam looks when it is set up in wooden boxes and crates, and I know our guests will love it, so it was worth it for us!

Save! I'm making favours myself. Guests generally don't care as much about these anyways.

We're saving I think... We're doing seed paper leaves and we're using them in lieu of escort cards.

Splurge - we will have favours (cookies). I considered making them but then realized I would probably be stressed and very busy and then would be worried if they didn't all turn out or if they taste okay. so I ended up hiring an old friend from my hometown to make them !. she runs her own bakery and is amazing!! love to support my friends!
