Hey beautiful ladies!!
Now is the time to show us that beautiful engagement ring of yours!!
Post a picture here and tell us if there's something symbolic about your ring
We saw the venue, its in a maybe pile as there were a few things we weren't sure about, but later that night we found one that May be the one! We're going to look next weekend
Hi emilie! We're going to look at one tomorrow, hoping it'll work out! Thanks for the links I will check them out! Unfortunately not a lot had been done this week, luckily with the longer engagement we're not stressing
This is beautiful Cara!! I love the design he made specially for you! This is so cute!! It must have been so hard for him to hide that ring from you!! How did he propose?
Welcome to the community! I'm so happy to see you in here! How's your planning going so far?
my fiance didn't want to buy a ring from a jewellery store, so he disigned his own, he know that I loved solitares so he went with that and created this master piece!
Wow Sydney!! This is such a beautiful story!! Is must have been such a surprise when he proposed with that ring!! It's absolutely gorgeous!! How did he propose?
I love the idea of carving Mr. and Mrs. into pumpkins!!! We are planning for a fall wedding, so I'd love to incorporate pumpkins into our decor, both because I love fall and because of the unique proposal!
Love the pumpkin proposal! Will you have pumkins at your wedding to incorporate the memory of his proposal? You could carve mr & mrs in white painted ones! Lovely to have part of your mom in your ring!! Just touching!!
Omg! That's one beautiful ring pretty lady!!So awesome when family are there to get to see the magical moment! Congratulations my Dear! If you need any advice don't hesitate to ask any of the wonderful folk on here! Xo Mal
Hi emilie! I didn't see the cabin post I'll have to check it out! We've been looking at mainly outdoor venues for reception and ceremony that have a rustic feel to them, we've found a couple that have made the list but haven't settled on "the one" yet
I think you made the right choice, it's definitely going to make it a lot easier for your guests and can have more family and friends attend your wedding that way.
Did you like the cabin idea I posted in your discussion yesterday? That could be quite a unique idea for an "in the woods feel".
I thought I would also share with you these latest discussions in the community to chat a little.
Hey Emilie,I've done just that! I started a discussion with my dress if you want to check it out. As for planning, this past weekend we visited three venues. I think we're set on a decision, we're just waiting for some replies. I really want to get the venue out of the way as I feel that will cover a lot.
Hi emilie Our families are all in Canada, we've just always dreamed of going to ireland! Oh that's so exciting I bet it will be beautiful! I'll definitely check out the thread we've decided to stay local, as we'd like a lot of our family to attend and some can't travel far anymore
I'd love to see a picture of your dress! It looks gorgeous!! You should create a discussion and post it in the My wedding dress so that your groom doesn't see it
I can't wait to see you ideas for your wedding!!
And I'm so glad you have something in common with the other Valerie
You should have a look at her discussions. She makes amazing DIYs!
I guess that's totally normal for parents... They don't seem to realize how time flies and we do get older. Maybe it's a way for them to avoid getting older too I'm sure once you get married they'll start realizing that you're ready.
Have you taken that test last week? Yesterday, Sunday was national mother-in-law day. You'll see it's quite a fun test!
Wow Chelsea!! This is so impressive!! How long have you been planning for?
It seems like your wedding planning has gone really smoothly so far... you have done so many things already!!
Anything you found more difficult than others?
I'd love to see how your invitations look like and what centerpieces you came up with. You could make a board with pictures of all the things you got so far to inspire other brides in their preparations.
We picked out this ring in April but he said he didn't have the budget to buy it right away. Then we found out a week later that the jewler was shutting down for good nationwide. I looked in every location for the ring we had chosen but it was too late My fiancé played it off really well by stating that we had to find a different ring. But on the day after my birthday, he took me to the end of our favourite pier and proposed to me with the original ring he bought the day after we picked it out.
My Fiance just proposed this past Friday. We were headed to my in-laws' place for his dad's retirement party on the Saturday and decided to do our annual trip to Pumpkinferno in Upper Canada Village (they have amazing pumpkin displays). When we got back to his parent's place, surrounded by friends and family, he proposed by having "will you marry me" carved into pumpkins. It was beyond perfect. The centre stone is from my mom's previous marriage.
I actually found my dress online around the same time Adam and I picked out the ring. I saw it and loved it. It's taupe with silver sequins and cap sleeves.
I love how bright my bike is. I just sold it so I'm hoping I can get my newer faster one wrapped as well by my sponsor. We're planning for a fall wedding as I don't want to be sweaty my butt of outside.Race Season is May-October, so we're looking beginning of October when we can have colourful leaves.
