10 whimsical wedding ideas

#1, #5, #6, #7, and #10 are my favourites! Getting tons of ideas so thank you! I love the idea of adding succulents to your bouquet, hanging lights are always beautiful, never thought of adding a swing but that picture is so cute, terrariums always make adorable centerpieces, and hanging pocketwatches just add that little bit of extra wonder.

I am loving getting ideas from everyone here- and knowing that there are lots of people experiencing the same things, or offering advice to avoid problems.

My To-Dos this week are to hopefully block hotel rooms for guests to stay nearby for good price based on numbers (my MIL is helping negotiate this, she has some influence with hotels!).

and choosing the restaurant our small wedding ceremony group will dine at before the reception. My parents are helping pay for this, so my Mom will be helping me choose the place. I would really like to have that booked by the end of the week, but it will take some consideration too!

What's on your wedding to-do list this week?

Kylie has been great to chat with! I am so excited to be meeting Brides who are on the same page as I am

We are going to decorate, with candles and string lights and flowers- I have not settled on exactly how to go about the flowers yet.

Our venue includes a single stem white flower for each table with the event space, so we might not need to augment that. The tables are just small, and I wouldn't want to take up all of the space. I do think i'll do a a long flower arrangement along part of the bar though

Would you have a food truck at your reception?

Since you're having a cocktail reception you might not need centerpieces, but will you use plants to decorate too?
