My ring is nothing big and fancy like what I've seen on here. I've been engaged for years now, and we're still saving up for the wedding we wish to have. I originally proposed first back when I stayed with him in Fredericton in 2011, I had to go back to Winnipeg as the majority of work there required speaking Fnglish AND French.

My boyfriend moved into Winnipeg in 2012, he had a job then got laid off since it was a summer temp position. Then during the winter and autumn months, he struggled to find employment. He proposed to me after we've been together for nearly 4 years during that time in May of 2013 on the 9th day to be exact and this is what he was able to get me at the time from Ben Moss (it was the purple box).

A ring should not be about how expensive/extravagant it is, it should have someone's whole heart and meaning with commitment behind it all. He told me he'd get me a better one when he could afford it, but I told him that this is fine. And besides... With the hell I put this ring through (getting it resized, reinforced with something so that it won't warp, fishing it out of the defroster of our RAV 4), it added to its value.

Hi Emilie, Thank you!I haven't done much as yet. We have set the date and chose the colours we want to use. I have ordered some samples for invitations that I like on David's bridal. Looked at a few dresses. I want to attend the bridal show in January so I might wait until then to start really planning.

I know how you feel! I have two infinity signs for each of us and if you don't look closely at the right angle you'd never know. But I like that!! It's a secret just for you! That's adorable!

My fiancé got a heart incorporated into the side so I can always see it! It's my absolute favourite but hard to photograph!
