Diy bouquet opinions!!

Finished my bouquest today!!

I added the pearl strands and I took off the sparkly gems and put in pearls to match the strands. Do you guys think I should change anything?

I have a Cricut (paper cutting machine... the greatest) and they have a few 3D flower options, so I used that for the roses. And then Lia Giffith has an AWESOME website with PDF templates (and SVG files for cutting machines), I used them for the lillies (but they have a TON of flower options). They're subscription, but it's only $5 a month and you can download as many as you like. So I just singed up for a month and downloaded EVERYTHING and then cancelled.

They take some getting used to to assemble, but easy enough once you get the hang of it. DEFINITELY get a dual temp glue gun and use the low temp setting for paper... it works SO MUCH BETTER! And I didn't burn myself 100 times

Was there a specific guide you followed to make these?

Thanks Samara. I am definitely adding in the pearls, and yes, traditionally it's a much bigger bouquet for the bride, but I was looking for something more simple (plus my BM's are having a flower clutch instead of a bouquet, so it definitely stands out)

I'm kind of a more-is-more person, so I vote pearls. There is still lots of room for more here! But it is still beautiful as is, if that is more your style. Ultimately, it depends on what you want, of course!

Aww thank you! I still have to find some bouquet pins to put up the handle, maybe I'll get them to match the pearls in the strands to tie it all together!

And yes the wire wasn't my favourite, plus the puppy was laying with me and refused to move… almost took out her eye like 100 times.

The pearls do add a little pizzazz to the mix! The whole thing looks like something you would buy on Etsy for a premium price! I love it even more with the sentimental value added.

I tried working with wire once, stabbed myself a hundred times and decided to never do it again!

Haha oh I wasn't trying to keep it a secret, FH wrote it actually (he's a musician, I think he's FINALLY releasing his album next month after like 7 years in the making), so no one's really heard it but me lol. It's called The Only One

Thanks!! Surprisingly took less time than you'd think... wrapping the darn wire in floral tape was easily the most time consuming and annoying, but ultimately made them easier to work with when making the bouquet
