Thank you! I ended up going with the Lillian West 6515 dress (if you google it you can find pics)! I initially wanted a ballgown but when I put on that A-line dress it fit me like a glove. Just stunning. And theres a slit on the side which I just ADORE. I feel like a forest goddess in it.

Girl, I totally feel you on being petite (5'3), so my dress is very similar in puffiness!

And thank you! I was SO close to getting it (like, driving back to put a deposit down), but I never loved it. I can't wait for my dress to arrive and my wedding to happen so I can post pictures for everyone to see the dress!

View quoted message Nope, I’ll be adding a little hint of purple in more of a v, just enough to raise the neckline slightly but not too much and without being straight across. It’ll match the purple I’m adding as the lining of the skirt. So you’ll see a hint of purple peeking through. This is a random sheet of fabric she pinned so I could see what the purple would look like in the skirt and again, the part at the neck was just shoved in to figure out what it could look like. Because I’ll be taking the dress in so much that she’ll have extra lace and sheer fabric which we’ll probably put a piece over it in the same shape so it matches the skirt or top. Hard to explain but basically another hint of purple for the neck. I swear it’ll be stunning, the dress is just way too big on me so it says in places and she just pinned and stuck so it looks a little funny.

Definitely take pictures of ALL the dresses you try on! I found that a dress I liked in person wouldn't look the same in a photograph and vice versa.

What kind of shape is it (A-line, ballgown, mermaid, etc.)? Definitely save it for until after the wedding! I've posted mine but I don't think I'll be posting it once I get my actual dress in, in my size, and fitted.
