4 course meal plated and it was excellent. Everyone loved the meal til the end. A menu card for everyone to know what was served.

My FH's ONLY request was "no buffet". Since I'm forcing him to get married in Ontario (he's from Chicago) I figured we would do plated lol. We are getting married at Pillar & Post in NOTL in November, and their plated options in their "winter" package were VERY reasonable!

Buffet. It's a better variety than the plated.

As much as I like the look and feel of a plated dinner I prefer buffet style. People can eat what they want and there is less wasted food compared to plated.

We will be doing a plated meal. We are also doing passed appetizers at cocktail hour. I was initially thinking buffet, but the plated dinner is the cheaper option (surprisingly!) and works best to give us the glam vibe we wanted.

Mine is going to be a pot lock bffet style! Instead of playing an arm a and a leg for catering services I am using my huge family that loves to cook to my advantage!

We were thinking to have a buffet because it is more of a selection so our guests can eat what they want to eat.

We would have preferred buffet, but were surprised that the less expensive option was to have a plated dinner.

I expect it to be plated if we are in Cuba and a buffet if we are here.
