    Buffet Dinner, it's much less expensive than a plated and served dinner and this will allow guests to go for seconds if they choose. Plus a plated dinner is much more of a formal serving style, a buffet fits in to the more easy laid back vibe.

    I could use some help with this one. We're having a Christmas Jazzy wedding. We've coordinated with our hall to have Christmas dinner with our guests. Here's the question should we plate the dinners or should we do a family style where the different items come out and they serve themselves off the center of the tables?

    We're planning on a cocktail type wedding, so it'll be more like hors d'oeuvres. Maybe a late night snack of some kind.

    Plated for sure. Sucks for seating charts but it is best that everyone gets their pick of food.

    Walk around appetizers but plated after that! Our venue is small so theres no where to put a buffet.
