Definitely not splurging. I’ll only wear it once, and I know that I can find lovely dresses for under $1k- so why spend the money? I’d rather go to Bora Bora. 😁

Splurge! I'm on budget for my dress, but alterations and accessories might go a touch over budget. For my fiance we're investing in a suit which might be more spurge-y than renting.

Save, I have a set budget for my dress and will not go over that. My FH will be renting his attire. For our flower girls, I will be looking at dresses in children's stores, our date will be after Easter so I will be looking at those dresses for the girls.

This one's hard to call. He's wearing his uniform and I got my dress at a sample sale. But my dress was still a significant percentage of our budget.

I got it new but was $300 under my budget...so minor splurging? I don't feel it was a save compared to some of the great deals previous posters got because it was $700, but that includes all fittings and customization by a professional seamstress. Not super bad either

Save! I just can’t jusitfy spending a lot and we have other priorities. My dress was on clearance for $99 but needs a few alterations, shoes on for $29.99. Grooms and groomsmen shoes were on sale for $19.99. Bridesmaid dresses were $30. It’s become a bit of a game to try and find the rest of the items needed for the lowest price possible. We just need men’s shorts, dress shirts and the girls shoes and we’re all done.

I'd say compared to what we were planning on spending, it's a splurge for both of us. Granted, for my FH, his tux is getting worn 3 times in 2 weeks... haha (wedding, and both formal nights on the honeymoon cruise)... whereas my dress cost 5 times as much and gets worn once!!! Eek. lol. But I LOOOOOVE it.

He also got $400 off because we did the groomsmen rentals at the place we purchased his tuxedo.

Save! We're not going cheap by any means, but we're also not spending way too much money.

I saved by getting a dress from an older year from a discount store. I'm probably going to go easy for all the additions too.

Save by renting if possible, though it some places costs the same as rentals.

We on the other hand, splurged on suits and pocket square for him. If the attire is cheaper based on the sale, better savings.

I thought my dress would end up being a splurge. I figured spending a bit more on a wedding gown would be okay since it's such a special thing. However, my dream dress ended up being on sale so we saved quite a bit!

Generally save but I ended up splurging on my dress. My maids can wear whatever dress they want and the men are up to my fiance.

Generally - save. I don't want to have anyone in the bridal party worried about the cost of their attire. We are planning to start looking for bridesmaid dresses at Winners. I want to love my wedding dress, but I will only wear it one time. I am not prepared to drop a large amount of cash
