literally seems like so far away. Reality is...it's really not LOL Just got engaged last weekend, so it'll be nice to finally getting into planning mode !
Thanks Maria The template from the lanterns are from a paid site (I only downloaded the svg file, which only works with cutting machines), but I left the link in the comments of the photo for anyone looking for it!Those are really cute! But I had a few other ideas I'm between (already made a post about it lol)
Wow, im surpirse! You are very talented Valerie, congrats
Love all your DIY! We would love to see the tutorial of the lanters, will you share it on the DIY group? I saw Eartha also asked you for the template, can't wait to see the final art
I think you might like these options for your placecards:
Not too bad at all! I think I'll have a venue lined up within the next month. My MOH is head chef at a very cute restaurant in a popular wedding spot so she will be able to give me the venue and dinner with as little mark up as possible. I have a draft guest list, ideas for centerpieces and a clear vision of the TYPE of dress I want, but not specifics. I think I'll go to The Brides's Project in Toronto which has a selection of donated dresses at reduced prices with the proceeds going to a cancer charity! Honeymoon is laid out but not booked because it is too far away. Idea is to do a two week euro trip, doing Germany, Switzerland and northern Italy (Como and Milan).
And the budget we think (hope, pray) is worked out. We have money atashed away and hope to save another chunk in the meantime. Plus his family has offered to help but I'd rather not rely on them too heavily because they're close to retirement. The engagement wasn't a surprise so although I've only had the ring for just under two weeks I've been doing general planning for a while. Soooo happy, excited and neurotic about something so far away!

Oh probably not really, but I'm contantly posting them lol
I'm currently working on making small lanterns (to line the aisle with), some paper flowers with lights for the tables and deciding what I want for the placecards at the tables
Do should create a discussion with your DIY? Im sure all the WW Canada Commnunity would love to see them

Oh if only getting on him to do things didn't take more work than just doing things myself sometimes lol I THINK I'm on top of it all, plus my new company is AMAZING and gives me from December 24th to Janurary 2nd off!! So I've got lots of DIY projects planned for that week
