Not sure who all gets gifts. Do you get for parents? Others who help you? MC? And what do you get them?

Our Wedding is in September and I can't decide on when to have photos taken. I need to figure this out so I can order invitations. Photos beforehand, guests will see us dressed up, but then there is less standing around for those not in the photos....

Help!! I'm trying to keep my wedding costs down with a small wedding. Is it rude when you invite a single person, that you do not include a guest for them? What's the best way to handle this?
