3393 days agoSo I have a list of about 200 guests, 20 of those are children. I have 80 imediate family members plus my Fiance's 30. Then our friends. But if we really want the family, intimate feel we would have to drastically cut down our numbers and I'm...
Hi hun! I just created this chain of kindness, so we can all be here for each other in the community: https://www.weddingwire.ca/forums/chain-of-kindness-follow-the-chain--t2878 This is the first link of the chain: https://www.weddingwire.ca/forums/1st-step-chain-of-kindness--t2879 As a community we grow stronger together and wedding planning becomes more fun and easier when we’re all here for one another. I hope you’ll join us! Let us know if there’s anything we can help with, there is always someone here for you :) I hope all is well! Have a great day! xx
That sounds amazing Tina! I can't wait to see pictures of your inspirations! A celtic theme sounds amazing! Will you guys wear claddagh rings? It's one of my favourite celtic symbols :)
There are some dresses I love but will have to wait to start trying them on, I might have someone that can make it for me as well. Good family friend that used to design and making wedding dresses for a living which i'm excited about. I like fitted on the top and flowing from there.
well I'm a herbalist and love plants, roses being my absolute favourite and lilies. Celtic themed is what I am thinking. I haven't thought about it much but have seen some ideas that intrigue me.
Hey Tina! It's hard to make everyone happy in these situations, but it's your big day and a farm wedding can be really chic! You should go for it! Maybe if you'd show your mom a few pictures of the style you're going for she would come to understand? Let us know if you want to talk about it. We love to help. I'm sure there are lots of non-alcoholic beverages you could go for too. Don't hesitate to create a discussion if you want advice, ideas or feedback on something: https://www.weddingwire.ca/com-DebateNuevo.php?id_group= What style do you have in mind for the decorations? What about your dress? :)

3429 days agoBut I'm sure I will in the future. Just trying to sort out venues first. I'm thinking of a ceremony at a heritage sight, I love gardens and the trees. Then reception/dance and my mother in laws farm. My own mother thinks that would be dumpy. Her and I have very different tastes and right now she's pushing a lot of places out of town or in Vancouver and I don't want that. I have many people coming from out of town so I want to make it more of a family gathering type of party. My fiancé and I don't really drink either and we have a lot of people coming that used to have addictions so lots of thoughts around the bar as well. Sorry I just blabbed on haha
