I was born in Vancouver but raised in California, however I'm still not an American and am very close to my Canadian roots! My fiance and I met online through eHarmony and were engaged for 2.5 years before we got married. Our wedding was 5 years and 1 day after our first date!

3502 days agoThanks Melissa! I think I've seen you on the other Wedding Wire site and yes it is VERY different haha. I'm definitely loving the Canadian feel. I wish I'd discovered this sooner as now we're so close to the wedding! I'm a little stressed trying to finish our last little projects and not forget all the little things that need remembering but I know as soon as I get to Canada, I'm just going to be excited. We've been engaged for 2.5 years now so it's been a long time coming! Good luck with all your wedding planning and I can't wait to hear more about your wedding!

It is quite different here than the US site....both are great, but my biased opinion is that we are cooler ;) I can't believe how close to your wedding you are! Are you feeling any nerves yet? Very excited? Can't wait to get some been-there-done-that advice from you!

3502 days agoHi Emilie! The Canadian website is very different than the American version so I'm still figuring out how it works! Thank you for reaching out! Our wedding is in 11 days so we're almost there! Pretty much everything is done except for a few small projects like our programs and chalkboard signs. I look forward to meeting more Canadian brides!
