Thanks Melissa! I definitely wish I'd found this sooner too! This is more what I was expecting the forums would be like when I joined the US version and I hope that more Canadian couples join! Thanks for all the support! It's been very reassuring since we're so close to hear that our ideas aren't crazy! We haven't been to many weddings and wanted it to be very "us" so hopefully all our plans work out on the big day! We are going to be flying up to Vancouver next Tues (5 days before) and my mom is driving up this weekend with all our decorations so we've been scrambling to finish everything before she leaves! (So it's less work when we get up to Canada) I can't wait to be back up there! It's been so hot in CA so I'm looking forward to some real fall weather. ;)

2.5 years is a long time coming! I can't imagine the build up you must be feeling! :D How are in advance are you coming to Canada before the wedding day? I'm sorry you didn't find us sooner- I'm a lurker on the US boards, never posted because I know I'll just get in a fight and get internet angry ;) This group might be small right now, be we are pretty excellent! If you need last minute input- you know who to come to!

Thanks Melissa! I think I've seen you on the other Wedding Wire site and yes it is VERY different haha. I'm definitely loving the Canadian feel. I wish I'd discovered this sooner as now we're so close to the wedding! I'm a little stressed trying to finish our last little projects and not forget all the little things that need remembering but I know as soon as I get to Canada, I'm just going to be excited. We've been engaged for 2.5 years now so it's been a long time coming! Good luck with all your wedding planning and I can't wait to hear more about your wedding!

Welcome to Wedding Wire Canada! It is quite different here than the US site....both are great, but my biased opinion is that we are cooler ;) I can't believe how close to your wedding you are! Are you feeling any nerves yet? Very excited? Can't wait to get some been-there-done-that advice from you!

Hi Emilie! The Canadian website is very different than the American version so I'm still figuring out how it works! Thank you for reaching out! Our wedding is in 11 days so we're almost there! Pretty much everything is done except for a few small projects like our programs and chalkboard signs. I look forward to meeting more Canadian brides!
