Show me your inspiration pieces or what you used to come up with the theme or colours of your wedding? Was it a picture, Pinterest, another wedding you've been to, or a book? I'm excited to see your answers!

While on a trip to Vancouver, we came across purple varnish clams on the beach for the first time. They’re lavender on the inside and beautiful so We’re leaning towards a lavender, mahogany, and creams palette (pulling in rosemary and/or sage wherever possible). Our venue is a garden so it will tie into that as well.

So I saw some pictures on Pinterest and absolutely fell in love with dusty rose. We ended up going with a colour that’s a tad purpler than pure dusty rose, but I still like to think of is as dusty rose. My fiancé really wanted to wear a navy suit, so everything worked perfectly!

I like the purple with the gold. It pops. I think the gold chair covers you have will look good with purple.

I don't have any exact picture. I chose dark red for 3 reasons; I like that colour, the girl's skintone (they will look good in dark red) and the guys are in black. For my second colour I chose champagne because I think it looks great with dark red. Tablecloths, chair covers and napkins are in champagne. Centerpieces are dark red and white. The guys will wear dark red tie with a white flower. The girls bouquet will be white and a little red. Mine will be the same but with a bit more red.

If my FH chose to go with royal blue like he had in mind then I would have scraped dark red and champagne. The bridesmaids would have been in peach or nude colour. The table clothes, napkins and chair covers in white. The centerpieces royal blue and peach (or nude). The guys in royal blue with peach (or nude) tie and a matching flower. The bouquet would be royal blue with white and peach (or nude).

I always liked the look of blue and orange together! This bouquet sold me on the idea:

So originally I wanted peacock decor and loved that theme. Then I realized that it wasn't quite the style I was going for. I loved the vibrant colours though, so we went with the dark plum and a shimmering gold plus a bit of a rustic farm theme. I couldn't find an exact inspirational photo but let me know what you think!

And honestly you don't even have to post a picture! I just am because I love visuals!
