As soon as you get engaged many people seem to have some advice to share about how you should do things, where, how, when...

Hi Emilie, you are right. The advice I was given was that if you have a limited or cash bar, people will give less for the presentation. To me, whatever a guest gives, I'm happy but I was glad to be advised by a friend that have an open bar is not always great as people tend to take advantage. My friend said that it does matter if you have an open or limited bar, people will give you want they wish. For me, I will have a limited bar,but I am thinking that my wedding party will either get complimentary drink tickets or advised them bartender that it's open to the wedding party. I like the idea of a limited bar as people will not be tempted to also waste drinks as they will be responsible for what they get.

Hi Simone Smiley heart Really? What was the opinion you were given on limited bars? What do you think about them?

You should give your opinion here so future brides have a reference on what to think about them too Smiley smile

Will you have a limited bar or an open bar?

Do you think they're a good idea?

    Hi Jenn Smiley heart

Is your mom involved in your wedding planning?

Of course, she shouldn't handle it all herself, it is your big day after all! But I'm sure it must be good to feel like you have her support Smiley smile Have a look at Nelly's discussion. I quite agree with her opinion that weddings are a family affair:

What I learned: Wedding is a family affair

How much is your family involved in your wedding planning?

How are you doing in your preparations for your destination wedding?

    Hi Nelly Smiley heart

I think having everyone from many generations together at the head table is such a great and loving moment Smiley heart

Do you still have all your grandparents? How many people will be sitting at your head table?
