Hi lovely soon-to-weds!

Alcohol consumption can be a tricky subject at weddings. It all depends on budget and how much you want to control what your guests will be drinking.

What will you go for? Limited bar or open bar?

A. Limited Bar: Offer a limited selection of drinks, give free drink tickets, etc.

Will you have a limited bar or open bar?

B. Open Bar: Pay a set amount for unlimited drinks

Will you have a limited bar or open bar?

We debated a lot- open bar can be expensive!

In the end we opted for open bar- it suits they type of party reception we are throwing, and we know that most of our guests will be staying in a hotel nearby (walking distance), so the drink and drive issue is avoided.

We did have to adjust our budget in other areas to make that happen, but I'm happy with the compromises!

Wish we could have an open bar but since people will take their car to go home, we opted for limited drinks

We'll have limited drinks i guess but mainly because we want to have cocktail stations and there won't be any bar to have an open bar
