Splurge or Save: Decor?

Save. We have 2 beautiful venues showing off the mountains and we don't want to take away from the view!

Save. Again, bare minimum, and the decorations we do do are likely going to be DIY.

Save - I am doing a ton of DIY decor pieces, and I am also renting several items from my florist and a vintage decor company nearby. I have also purchased some decor items off of Facebook Buy and Sell groups and Kijiji, so prices are super cheap.

Save! I'm doing most of the decorations myself.

I would say save cause we doing very little decor

Save, we have been buying everything used and just fixing it up to how we want. We will re-sell it all after.

Save. I'll become the DIY Queen

Saving. our ceremony is at a botanical garden so it doesn't need much decor and I love the look of our reception hall so it doesn't need much either.

Splurge, the details matter a lot to me. We're doing a lot ourselves (wedding arch, table numbers, settings, etc) but it still adds up!

Splurge - I found a lady who does florals and decore. I would rather have someone else doing that stuff intstead of me trying to get everything done on time!

Saving
No decor needed for the ceremony because the venue provides it all, and the decor for the reception will be pretty minimal too because we chose a venue that speaks for itself. We will have a little decoration, but not much.

We are saving on this and going with a more minimalist look.

Definitely saving on this by making most of our décor.

We are DIY or buy cheap wedding decorations but very tastefully. Renting table cloths.

Splurge.... We are renting chiavari chairs and charger plates. Those alone are well over $1500.

We're saving. I splurged by having navy sequin tablecloths for the head table, dessert table and guestbook table. The guest tables will have navy satin runners ($8). I'm using my own books for centrepieces and the head table backdrop will be DIY.

Mostly saving. I'm not decorating much as the venue does a bit of basic decorating

We'll be saving! A lot of our decor we will be borrowing or buying at thrift shops! I love that the rustic wedding is a thing because it leaves so much room for things not to be 100% polished.
