You can start planning as early as you want. In fact, the sooner you start, the better to look for deals and start any DIY. You'll see that inspiration is everywhere and you can already start gathering a few ideas to see what your style is and how you would like your wedding to be.

For me the first 4 steps were setting a date, starting a guest list, finding a venue(something that fit our style and guest list) and selecting my wedding party
