I loved the Chandon gown by Hayley Paige and got to try it on, but it was out of my price range. But the stars aligned and I found a prom dress in the rose colour for under $600 and it looks identical!! Here’s me in the white HP.

I wanted something with color romantic and lacy... I was going to get this made in blush or blue with sleeves... I ended up with taffeta and strapless

I really love this one and hope I can find it when I start looking!

At first, I had thought that I would want something with purple in it like these dresses:

As I started trying on dresses, I realized that I can wear a purple dress anytime but I only get to wear white wedding dress once so I decided to go with a white dress. I discovered that I loved lace so I looked at all lace dresses.

This is one dress I loved on Pinterest, even though its strapless and would look awful on me, I think its gorgeous. I still ended up getting an A-Line/Ballgown and I absolutely adore my dress so I'm happy, but still love this one!

I knew that I wanted a more fitted wedding dress, something like a fit and flare or fitted sheath, and that's what I ended up getting. I looked at a bunch of Maggie Sottero styles before shopping but ended up with something else. Here are some of the ones I liked online:

What I thought I wanted when looking at Pinterest was something boho, flowly, like these:

But what I ended up getting was a fit and flare, like this shape. This isn't my actual dress, but the shape is similar and mine is also slik and ruched. Couldn't be more different than what I thought I wanted, but I love it!
