Help! Are you doing wedding favours??

I’m totally on the fence about wedding favours. I can’t even begin to think of any ideas, nor is there anything that has caught my attention.

We are on the fence at the moment. But most likely not! It's more money and depending on the favors they sometimes get forgotten after the reception. We did think of having bubbles as the favors and they can be used day of and were thinking about having the bubbles blown for our first dance that would make awesome pictures but still on the fence haha

We did a donation to an organization that touched both of our families instead of favours. From experience, we know that we've always thrown out the favours we've gotten, so if we were going to spend money we wanted it to be put to good use.

I am in the same boat. I think we are just going to grab wine glasses and have our names n the date on them. Nothing exspensive, we have enough to pay for lol.

We are doing this as well. My fiances uncle passed away from ALS 10 years ago so we will be doing donations on behalf of our guests to the ALS Society of Canada.

We made a spice mix and gave that out as favours in little glass jars.

We gave out fudge. The other option I was considering was doing seed paper for an herb garden. I found them on Etsy and you could personalize the tags.

We are doing potted plants as our centrepieces, and they will double as the favour. One plant per couple.

My cousin recently had cupcakes as her wedding favours and they were a hit!

Another favourite wedding favour was a bamboo plant I received. 4.5 years later and it’s still alive!

That’s where I’m on the fence. In the past I’ve gone to weddings and the favours are so generic it’s not symbolic enough to me to have it displayed. And to be honest, I don’t even know where any of these favours are lol.
