My yes dress still makes me cry!!

I wound up adding a belt, and an illusion top to it, like I'd always wanted, and its sooo flattering!!

I have a bit of a tummy, so I wanted ruching (always looks weird written out!). I'm also short so didn't want anything too poofy because I thought I would get lost in the skirt. I originally wanted sleeves of some sort. A train was a must. At first I wanted white, but I'm fairly pasty so ivory looked better. I didn't like lace. After looking at a few dresses online, I decided I wanted it gathered or beaded off to the side. This is the first dress I tried on and chose: (not me in the pic as I don't have any wedding pics on this computer)

That’s fair. I’m tall so I think I would be fine in that department. Is the bottom thick and warm, or breezy and light?

3 stores, 15 dresses and 5 pins later. This was THE dress. It was the first one I tried on at the last store and I cannot wait to walk down the aisle to marry the man of my dreams.

I'm not sure where you're located. Moncton New Brunswick Canada Moncton Coliseum is holding a Wedding Expo thousands of wedding gowns cheap you can look it up on Facebook Moncton Coliseum Wedding Expo it's actually this February 2nd comes once a year every year

I got it online from a place called Lulu's. I found them a couple years ago and love their dresses, it's really the only place I buy my dresses from now lol so when they got a "bridal" section on their website I jumped for it!

Thanks! It was such a small detail in the grand scheme of things, but I really wanted buttons all the way down. I had three main criteria: a satin-y material, ballgown shape, and buttons!

Pardon the terrible picture- I didn’t know (at this moment in time) that this was THE dress. I had a suspicion- but I had a few others I was excited to try on..... I tried it on again about 20 mins after this and bawled like a baby 🙂 Stella York- white ivory
