The venues we've looked at so far are in the $250-310 per head range. This includes the venue fee, food, chairs, tables, linens + for some of the venues the DJ and wedding event planner. Is this in line with what some of you have been seeing?...

Does it usually happen before or after you sign a contract or put down a deposit? I understand venues asking to do it after a contract is signed but then again, I want to taste what I'm putting a deposit down for lol Thanks so much - just started...

Hey ladies, My fiancé and I started shopping around for wedding venues (preferably a winery) and I'm wondering: have you found that most deposits to save the date are nonrefundable? Thanks so much
