born and raised in england, emigrated to canada when i was 10 years old, i am now 46 years old, and this will be my first wedding...guess i was waiting for the right one....we met online and we instantly felt like we'd known each other our whole lives, we are best friends, have so much in common - everything was sunshine and butterflies then the s*$t hit the fan, the bottom of our fluffy cloud fell out, there has been so many sad/bad things happen...more than 3...so i felt i was cursed, but he has been by my side through all of it, so I know he's my one and only.

Happily married 🎉

I was born and raised in accrington lancashire emigrated here at age 10. I have the following booked my venue..my bathrooms..my caterer...my dj...my photographer..my decor..my baker...my limos..my photo booth. ..I have my dresses and my girls dresses...the men's kilts rentals...all I really have left is to print the invites...oh I also have my candy buffet completed...I need to put together my bouquets too..but I have all the flowers already....I keep feeling like I'm forgetting something though...I've asked friends who've been married to go through a checklist with me...so far I think I'm well ahead of the game. My colors are to match the black watch kilt...blue and green and black for my bridesmaids..then 2 flower girls..one in red carrying the red rose of England. ..one in purple carrying the purple thistle of scotland...I can't wait to see it all come together

Hi Tracy, I saw the wall message you left for me! I also had a spring wedding (late May as well) and my theme color was blue. I also lived in England for several years, what part are you from? We have so much in common! It sounds like you and your future husband have a wonderful, supportive relationship together. I'm sure he was worth waiting for. Don't worry about not knowing a lot about weddings, none of us do when we start out. Let's chat about it, what have you planned so far, and what are you working on next?
