Our wedding is gonna be on October 1st, 2024, the weather is always perfect on the first day of October, the fog creeps in but the sun is still warm enough that you don’t catch a chill. It will be at Brix&Mortar in Yaletown, they have a stone courtyard with vines creeping all the way up, and an enormous ornate chandelier. The vibe is dark and moody but not necessarily gothic. There will be a lot of inspiration from nature - mossy tables with manzanita branch centrepieces, sheepskin on the chairs, geodes and raw crystals on the tables, pinecone place holders. The glassware will be pink and purple, black plates with gold detail, velvet tablecloths. Tons of mismatched thrifted candle holders and candelabras. Rich colour and texture that make our wedding unique and our own. Favours will be incense and incense holders, and little bags of caramel flavoured coffee for the adults, colouring/activity pages with crayons and Halloween bath bombs for the kids.
