Just finished the wedding registry at Hudson Bay. I've been told I need more than 1 is that true? What are you guys doing?

I did two - one at the Bay and one at Walmart. Most of my family lives in a small town so Walmart was an option that I knew would be easier for them and surprisingly I found quite a bit of good stuff.

To be honest I only did them for my upcoming bridal shower and then I will likely take some of the stuff that wasn't bought off.

I wasnt even going to do one, but ended up doing two, one at tjthe e bay and one at bed bath and beyond. Only reason i did two is I found alot more stuff at bed bath and beyond, but I honestly hope i get cash!

We are only doing one. In fact, my friend was surprised with how little we had on it! (We thought we had a lot!) I think these days alot of people end up giving cash anyway. We also didn't want to register for a bunch of things we wouldn't use.

If there are more things you want elsewhere, by all means, register there. But, don't register elsewhere just to give your guests another option!

One should be fine. Most people who do not buy you an actual gift will probably just give you money.

We did two but then ended up deleting our registry through Hudsons bay because we had a lot of issues with items quickly being discontinued and needing to recheck the page every few weeks to ensure the items we chose were still on there. It was more of a hassle than helpful. We now only have our honeymoon registry active to our guests.

One is more than enough. I'm still on the fence about even having a registry period tbh!

One is fine and makes it easier for people I would think.

One should be fine. If you would prefer that people bring you a monetary gift, then definitely keep it to one. We just have one small one. We set it up last November (we're getting married November 2018) and so my close family already purged it for our Christmas and my birthday gifts lol. There isn't too much left for both the bridal shower AND the wedding, so hopefully people will get the hint that we would prefer a cash gift the day of Smiley smile

If you prefer the tangible gift, then maybe start a smaller one elsewhere. Honestly, it's free to do either way,so go for whatever your needs are Smiley smile

You don't have to if you don't want to. We went with them and bed bath and beyond just because we saw different options. And sometimes different price points (Bed bath has a lot more smaller stuff I find so they can buy multiples). It's totally all in preference on what you need/want.

There’s a few different options for websites to use! I found this website here that goes through the pros and cons of a whole bunch! It makes it really easy to find the best one for you!

You definitely do NOT need more than one, unless you want one.

I didn't really want to register anywhere, but we registered at The Bay as well as typically everyone has easy access there and there's a lot of options.

You don’t need more than one registry at all. If there’s more than one place you want to be registered then go for it, but you really don’t need to be registered anywhere else. I’m personally doing a honeymoon registry since my fiancé and I live together and have everything we need.
