I am having a winter-forest themed wedding, which will be as zero-waste as I can make it. My dress is second hand, we are getting married at a conservation area, so all of the profit from our wedding goes back into environmental education on site. I am having a mostly vegan and somewhat vegetarian menu, buffet style so that the service staff gets to take some food home at the end of the night, instead of throwing away full plates of food, and we will have vegan pies instead of a big fancy wedding cake that lasts for MONTHS. My centre pieces are going to be jars from foods stuffs that we have been collecting over the past few months. We are not having a bridal party to cut down on cost and drama, and we will be walking each other down the aisle in a traditional Roman Catholic ceremony. My Fiance and I will be 23 by our wedding day, and will have been together for 6 years. We can't wait to start our lives together!
