I found with alot of my vendors if I went with the little guys, small and local .. small business owners that I got a much more personal experience and a much better price ... they just seemed to care more

It was unexpected, and I am super grateful... They will probably be green so I had to tweak the color scheme a bit... It will work.

Thank you Emilie ! I will check out these discussions .im sure they'll be very helpful . I've always loved flowers myself ! So it'll prob be most of my decor . The church doesn't allow petals on the aisle so I don't need to worry about that.

I will definitely get quotes . As some minimums with delivery and set are 2500 ! Yikes . And that is awesome your total is very reasonable .

I would say my flowers are 300 ... its tied in with my decor so hard to say an exact number ... my total for table linens decor and all floral was 1300... so I am very happy !!! since most were quoting me over 2500

I have set 150.00 for our flowers. I am making my own Bouquet and my own boutoniers. I'll get my flowers @ the Food store. To save a much money as I can. I know that flowers can cost way too much and a waste of money when they die off in a few days.90% of my flowers will be silk. get them @ the dollar store.

Yes, Katherine is correct, there are many facotrs! I would suggest going to at least 3 florists for quotes so you can make sure you are getting a fair price. But choosing flowers that are in season and more common will bring down the cost significantly. Also depends on the city you're in.

I personally decided to have paper flowers that I handmade so my costs were crazy low!!! And I bought silk petals for aisle decoration (which cost like $8 for 3000). So I don't have a GREAT frame of reference for prices HAHA

Depends on what flowers you want and if they are in season... They can get quite pricy We set our floral budget at $500 and are going to DIY it... My moms friend is giving us hydranga from her garden, which we will supplement with silk flowers and bulk flowers from Costco... If you are not into DIY Costco also sells wedding packages and centerpeices.
