I'm not doing a veil, but I am doing a flower crown. I feel like having the two would just be too much for me, and the flower crown is special to my FH and I, as I was wearing one on the night we stayed up and talked and got to know each other until 3 in the morning (it was Hallowe'en and I was a HippieSmiley tongue )

I wasn't planning on wearing one, but my mom mentioned to me how it would be really special to wear the one she wore marrying my father 30 years ago. She even mentioned having it altered to fit the style of dress I end up getting. Smiley smile I think it would be special.

No veil! I tried one on with my dress and i hated it. It was itchy where it touched me haha. Going for a less formal and less traditional vibe anyway Smiley smile

I'm wearing a veil as something borrowed since it was my mom's veil she wore in 2012. I'm so excited that it matches my dress!

I wasn't going to wear a veil, I was going to wear a birdcage/fascinator. I ended up trying on veils and liked them better. Plus my fiance wants me to wear a veil.

No veil - I'll be wearing a very casual wedding dress. That being said, I'm definitely looking for nice pins/combs for my hair.

I bought a cathedral length veil that I'll be wearing for the ceremony and for pictures but it will be taken out for the reception.

I love the idea of a veil just for that touch of elegance in photos, but given our venue choice and what we have planned for the day, it might just get in the way so I'm leaning towards not having one.

Same here! I wore a veil for some pictures and for the ceremony but took it off before the reception so I could move around easier and dance Smiley laugh

I wasn't planning on a veil, but my FH's sister bought my veil and tiara. Both are lovely so I will be wearing them. I know there have been times that I have needed to get her under control, she is trying to relive her wedding through our wedding, but her getting those for me was so sweet.

I opted for no veil. I didn’t like the look on me and we weren’t getting married in a church, so seemed odd to have one.

I wore a veil for the ceremony and most of our photos. I took it off before dinner though.
