Hi Ladies

I'm thinking of using Ruby Slippers as my wedding shoes. our colours are hunter green and dark red. we are getting married in the fall. The reason I was thinking Ruby Slippers is because I LOVE wizard of oz and will be walking down the isle to Over the Rainbow (acoustic) we are getting married on a ranch so stiletto heels are out of the question and these are more chunky..--- super cheesy?? Should I go with something more normal?

Oh you totally need to go for it!! I wore red shoes to my wedding (not completely the same I know) and it was a fun pop of colour.

That sounds like a good idea! Anywhere you can add a personal touch I think you should! My only advice is wear comfy shoes because you will be on your feet a lot that day!

Do it!!!!!! I love the Wizard of Oz too and I think that's really cool, and original. Maybe do like a ruby slipper variation, so it's not exactly the same (flats?), but close enough that people will get the point. Or you could do Silver slippers like she wears in the book for more subtly if you're worried. I think it's pretty dope though!
