Making a guest list is one of the first important steps to decide in your wedding planning and can be a quite difficult task... here's something to help
1. Set your style and budget
Do you want a big and extravagant wedding?
Or do you prefer to have an intimate wedding with close family and friends?
Look at different wedding venues and ask for quotes to have an approximate idea of the number of guests you can invite: Wedding Venues
2. Most important guests
Write down your close family members and best friends.
What important circle of friends and family do you have around you? Who are the people you absolutely want to come?
Do you have an important group of friends from High School?
Are you really close to people in your hockey team?
You can for instance divide your guest list into your important circle of friends like this:
3. How many people are you at now?
Is that too many people? Or not enough?
If you can still invite more.... include everyone you can think of you would want there on your special day!

4. Make room for your parents
If your parents are helping you pay for the wedding, ask them if there are friends or family members they would like to have present at your wedding.
And what about the rest of your family? Did you already include distant family members?

In the end as much as you want your guests to have a great time and see everyone... This day is your big day!!
