10 things couples think about when making their guest list

Honestly the guest list was probably the most difficult thing for us....my FH is italian and they usually have these big big weddings but he and I did not want that and of course his family freaked out!....now they understand but still was a struggle to get under 130....also we have lots of friends and i have lots of work friends.....but we managed to get it together...finally!

I have started making a preliminary guest list and so far it has gone very smoothly. Is it necessary to have our parents review and have their own list of people to invite? We are the ones paying for the entire wedding. What do you think?

Hahahaha yes, I've had many of these thoughts!!

Going through that right now so far we have 600 guests and we haven't invited co workers just a handful of friends.

I agree making your guestlist can be quite something... You should make sure to tell your guests when you send your invitations about whether they can invite other people or not and how many. Have a look at this discussion for instance

This is what I'm totally afraid of! My sister in law actually had a fully done list and yet random family members that were not invited showed up!... There was not enough table settings and they were totally embarrassed!!!.... Ughhhhh my worst nightmare especially when it comes to cutting out people you never talk to or see.

then started counting.... asking parents who they wanted to invite... boyfriend made his list and we started panicking!!
