I just turned 18, months later a 20 year old guy was interested in me. It was freaky at first but I didn't mind the two year difference... We met online (he's from NB I'm from MB). When I decided to let go of whatever I was hung up on and accepted his heart when he professed his love, it filled the void.

Yes 10 years! I have a lot of people tell me how lucky I am that at our young age we met and started our lives together and are still together and happy . I think that it was just met to be . We have 2 children right now but will be trying for a 3rd one after Christmas.

We met online in 2011 when I was 21 and he was 25. I was in my first semester of 4th year university, and tirelessly working on a final project. We talked for about 2 months while I was studying for exams, and then home for Christmas break. When I got back to town in January, he picked me up from the train station for our first date. We went back to his place where he made a massive schnitzel and pasta dinner; I think I only ate 1/4 of my plate. We got along so well that I ended up staying at his place for a few days, just getting to know him. My friends started to think something was wrong. Once they knew I was okay and quite happy, the rest is history. I had fallen for him before we even met in person.

Nope! We met at work (mod yard). His foremen all knew he wanted to ask me out and were like a bunch if elementary school kids... "we know who likes yooooooou!!!" Which of course had him dragging it out in hopes they would stop the nonsense. ..
He finally got the courage to ask for my number and we chatted for a couple weeks. Went on a couple dates. Finally got that first kiss and it curled my toes and I was like "well? We dating now? Can we make this official?" And he said ok

Honestly in the very beginning it was for me and my big brother and I talked about and really there hasn't been anyone who's treated me the way I deserve besides him

We met at 20 and by the time we were 21 we had our first child.Life has been crazy for us but could not be happier. We will be celebrating our 10 years together on her wedding day in just over 6 months! Can't wait

I was 36 he was 26 I thought he was older he thought I was younger

I was 22, he was 28. We met Jan 2013 and got together that April.

I met my FH at 32 years old and he was 37 years old. We met in August of 2014.

When we met I was 22- I think I turned 23 by the time we started dating. Gord was 26 when we met, and would have been 26 when we started dating too.

Hate to admit- that took a lot of thinking to figure out!

It was the start of December. I was 22 and he was 21 with only a few days before his 22nd birthday.

I had just recently turned 15 and he had also recently turned 18, I've liked him from day one!

I think I was 22, almost 23, when we first met, but that was only briefly. We didn't become friends at that point and rarely saw each other, even though we lived in the same building. He would have been 17 at the time (he graduated early since they bumped him up a grade, instead of down one, after he moved to Canada, as the countries' school years are staggered. We became friends a year later when we were 23, nearly 24, and 18, and started dating a couple weeks after. I never wanted such a big age gap, or wanted to date someone so much younger, but it seems to work in our case! I'll admit I thought he was crazy when I suspected he was interested, since I thought we'd just be friends and an age gap completely ruled out dating, in my opinion at the time. I never had thought of dating until I began to realize he was serious.
