Hair: Up or Down?

I am doing a high bun with a braid around it. i would love to have my hair down but i feel like i will get so sweaty during the dance that i will look like a drowned rat

Thinking of this hair style. So an Updo

I was thinking of doing an updo for the longest time because I always have my hair down but lately as I've been looking at more and more photos I have been leaning towards doing a half and half do!

I would love to do an updo as fiance has never seen one on me. But, I am wearing a strapless dress, and some people have suggested that down is better with that. But, it will be summer so I want hair off my neck.

All that to say, I am still undecided!

Long and to the side

I will be doing a french roll with a few soft curls hanging down in front.

Up for sure. I got for my trial in a couple weeks but I know I want curls and I want it all up - any tendrils will come uncurled and end up looking stringy on me, so it will all go up. Plus if its up, I won't have to fuss with it through the day.

I did something in between.

This was from my trial a few weeks ago before our e-session. I ended up having to come home and recurl my hair but this is pretty much what I'm going for. I may go with one more person for another trial and go from there.

Probably down, curled, and a few gold bobby pins (some with pearls, some with bling). Simple but pretty kind of like Alanah's picture. I don't need to pay a hairdresser for that.

I went half up/down. I wanted something pretty, but still look like myself.

I really like this hair with a veil. I look better in pictures with my hair down, but I want something more special than just curling it and leaving it down.

Fully down for photos. Half up for ceremony. All up for supper or if not enough time, all up for the dance. My hair dresser is also a guest, he loves the idea. He will be playing with it all day.
