Hair/make up

Both my hair stylist and makeup artist are coming to my hotel to do hair and makeup. If there's enough people they typically will make the trip. But you would only get one person in that situation so they are there for like 4 hours doing everyone back to back. this is more realistic for smaller bridal parties of 5-6.

A friend of mine will be coming to do all of the hair and makeup for my girls and me. She’s in the Toronto area, however she can travel and she does AMAZING work. Check her out allthingspretty.ca

Mobil salons are key. They travel to you. It is easier for 1 person to travel than 5 or 8 people to travel to a salon. Usually they bring more ladies to help and do make up for one ladies while doing hair on another. If yiu have to drive to a salom. It isnt worth it if you think about traffic travel time and coordinating with your ladies

My makeup artist was mobile, so she came to the salon and we got our hair and makeup done at the same place.

Look for a mobile stylist and make-up artist. I found some for my wedding and they were drastically cheaper than going to a salon. They might charge a bit for mileage but I found it was not ridiculous.

Somehow this got deleted..lol but my hair dresser is coming to the hotel and she's also a wedding guest. If we get a makeup artist then she will also come if not my bridesmaid will do my makeup.

My hair I'm doing a light curl, my hair dresser has a few style ideas and she's super excited! She's been doing my hair since I was 13 so she wait! Then for make up I'm keeping it very natural.

How have you been looking for your hair and make up? Just google searching? I found the one key word to include in your search is "mobile" hair and make up that should help with having someone come to you.

Best time to bond with family and friends is to get ready together and they’ll make you feel more relaxed 😌 but some people like to be pampered some people like to just save some money like myself lol whatever you decide I’m sure you’ll look amazing

Mine hair & make up is coming the place where I'm getting ready (parent's house). It depends on the bride/bridal party, how you would like yours done. A lot of professionals will come to you and there may or may not be a travel charge depending where you need them to go. EX: I'm getting ready in Calgary, AB and so is she so no travel cost. However, if I was getting ready in say Banff then there would be extra travel charge.

If your photographer(s) are coming to do get ready photos then it is easier to have everyone come to one location instead of having everyone driving to different locations. Also having everyone come to you means you as the bride won't need to get up as early to get ready, you can sleep in a bit as well.

There are make-up artists and hair stylists that come to your home or getting ready place. These are mostly freelance people, from my understanding, so they are not tied in to a salon. I am going to a salon for hair with my wedding party and the moms. But, I am having a make-up artist come to my friends house, where we are all getting ready, to do my make-up and my moms. It does cost a bit extra for mileage, but I have used these people for make-up before so wanted to get it done by them for my wedding!

I think I will have friends to do hair and make up most likely, although it is not expensive to get your hair and make up professionally done.

My fiancé’s sister is really good with hair and another friend is really good with make up, so I think we will go this way.
