Do you have a website for them? I googled but got a lot of results so not sure which one you used.

I've been in weddings that did both. My MOH got married last August and all the bridesmaids went to the salon to have our hair done in the morning but had the makeup artists come to her house in the afternoon where we were getting ready.

For mine I think everyone will likely be getting hair done by their own hairdresser - We aren't getting together until around 2 and I have a couple girls coming from out of town so they will probably use their own hairdressers. I have no idea what I am doing yet for hair - hopefully figure that out soon. In terms of make-up I am paying for the two ladies who did us for my MOHs wedding come to the hotel for everyone - they did such a good job last time I had to have them again.

Im getting them to come to the hotel. MUCH easier and less stress to worry about travel time. Same for the photographers.

The makeup artist just has you come to her place for the trial to make it fair for driving. And was $65 with fake lashes.
Hair lady lived in my town just a street over and was $50? Or somewhere close to that.

Mobile hairdresser/makeup artist coming to me

I hired mobile artists - they came right to my house and got us all ready.

I found lots of option sin the Ottawa area for hair/make up to come to your location. My sister in law will be doing our hair and I hired a make up artist to come do our make up. They may have a travel cost depending but it seems less stressful and more comfortable to have them come to you!

The girls and I all got ready at my moms house and had a hair/make up artist come to us (researched and found a business online). She came with her assistant and we had a great morning!

Much more relaxing being in your own home/hotel room than travelling to a salon.

And I think it makes for better pictures!

I found a travelling makeup artist who works along side a hairdresser and they travel together. So my bridesmaids and I are all getting hair and makeup done the morning of the wedding together. Seems like it will take stress off

Hey Candace, I'm getting married in 2019 but I am a mobile hair and makeup artist! Having worked both in a salon and freelancing I find it much easier for the Bride & Artists if it's somewhere comfortable for the Bride, its less stressful usually to get ready at your home/ hotel/venue and if planned out well by your team being hired timing works out better for the bridal party!

Mobile makeup and hair. My hairdresser is coming out to us and than a local gal is coming to do make up as well at my parents house.

I'm definitely planning to go with someone mobile for both hair and makeup. I've seen many people advertise that they do both..but even hiring one person for each if they are coming to you wouldn't be such a big deal. Small bridal parties make it easier (ill have max myself +3) and then I don't have to be running around feeling like I'm doing errands the morning of my wedding lol.

I hired a travel makeup/hairstylist company. They are local to our wedding location and come straight to you! So my girls and myself will be getting ready in my suite!

Ooh, hadn't thought of having the make-up artist come to the salon. That might ease some of the time crunch I'm feeling. Although, the salon does have a make-up artist and I went with someone else so I would feel bad having her come to the salon!

Yeah, so far most of the vendors I have booked I haven't found on here and some not even on facebook.. it has been a lot of word of mouth
