Green or Red Light: Wedding Hashtag?

Red light. We didn’t want our photos posted all over social media so we didn’t use a hashtag.

Yellow light? We didn't have one up until our DJ announced the wedding party into the reception, my sister made one up on the spot lol

Green light! I've been using our hashtag since our engagement party in July of 2018! It's so fun to have all the photos in one place! I even used a hashtag for my bachelorette in vegas last month

Red Light. Beyond the fact that our last names don't lend themselves to anything fun or creative with a tag, both my FH and I....along with most of our friends.....rarely use them. Didn't see the point.

Green light - I'm going to try it, and put a little sign maybe on the table with the guest book. For some reason I feel weird about forcing my guests to put their phones away during the ceremony (mine and photographer's preference) then encourage guests to use hashtag after, but 🤷‍♀️

Green light! It's fun and we might be getting a digital photobooth so it would be really fun for us and our guests to share!

We will be using a wedding hashtag.. london buy and sell is a great community and people were more than willing to help us come up with a hashtag. I think its a good idea to have a wooden sign that we can use for all events. From the stag and doe to shower etc.

Red light as we didn't go with a hashtag and felt it wasn't needed then.

Green Light. We decided to have a hashtag and then capture all the moments from our stag and stagette, my bridal shower, and of course the wedding itself. I think it will be awesome to look back at all the moments that lead up to that day.

I love this trend and I used many many hashtag generators before I settled on one that I liked. Our hashtag is going to be #TheGerriorForMe which I've already used a few times when posting engagement photos on instagram

Hopefully green if we can come up with something clever. FH's last name is a nightmare though.

Hoping for a green light but haven't found a hashtag we both agree on yet.

Red light- For me I really wanted us to be the first to post photos to social media of us. So a hashtag would kind of encourage people to post away on social media and after the wedding is over and we've gotten a chance to post they likely wouldn't remember the hashtag. I'm the same at other people's weddings where I'll post a selfie or pics of me with other guests, but none of the bride and groom until they have posted something

Yellow light - my FHs name is Nate and I’m Nat we use N8 and N@ as our signature for everything ( when writing letters, signs, etc). BUT you can’t turn that into a hashtags because the extra at symbol. So we’re probably skip a hashtag

Green light! I want to see everyone's pictures... I'm thinking #IrelandedAnOKelly (I'm Ireland & he's O'Kelly).

Leaning to red light none of our families our big on instagram their all mostly Facebook and not a lot of us is tech savvy

Green light! We don’t know what we are going to decide on or how it really works as I don’t know anyone that’s done this but I definitely want one! It will be great to get the pictures from everyone!

Green light! We want to be able to get photos from guests after the wedding so we definitely wanted a hashtag.

Neither FH nor I are big on Instagram, so I don't think it's something we'll do. Red light.
