Hoping to find a venue that will allow my fam to use their kitchen (community centre) for the rehearsal dinner.
Our venue doesn’t include catering but we’re hoping to connect with a local restaurant that we loved when we visited our destination city to see if they’ll cater our reception.
We had to book a caterer. We booked one that is from our small area and my fiancé has their food very often for farm talks and his aunt is friends with them.
To make it easier for us were having our venue to cater the food.

Our venue does food. and they are running the bar (but we supply the booze so will be cheaper than them hosting the bar). and i'm all about an open bar wedding. a factor in picking our venue was the food factor. they do GREAT food. even comes with dessert platters (yaaahhhh for no cake cutting/serving fee!)
Well since we rented a tent we had to find a caterer as well since the tent company doesn’t provide they only make recommendations but we knew that would be the case. We did talk about doing the supper ourselves but we didn’t want our family to have to work on our wedding day and we plan to have a big wedding so a caterer just seems so much easier!
Our venue is covering both food and bar - and everything else in between.
We looked for places that would do this as I didn't want to worry about coordinating several vendors - more room for error. This was it is simple and worry-free, at least for us.
We did separate, there isn't many venues that do that around here. Few community centers do offer and the hotels will offer. It kept costs down doing it seperatly
Our caterer is technically seperate from our venue but, he did come highly recommended by them. And rightfully so! His food is amazing! A bit hard to get a hold of but worth it lol
Our venue is catering! Kudos to the ladies who can coordinate it all, but I couldn't imagine having to find food service and linnins and plates and silverware and.....yeah I'm meant for the all-inclusive life.
