Thanks. This was the first time I went to a wedding expo and it was really good. I agree with you on the veil and the chair ideas as well. The pink one stood out for the creativty for the chair covers. I have spoken to my future husband and he is looking at a black suit, with a white blouse, gold tie and gold vest to compliment the bridesmaids attire.

Hey Simone This is amazing! I wish I had been there! Sounds like there wass loads of interesting stuff! I like the pictures you shared. I really like the veil in the picture with the dress! I love all the details on it! The chair decorations are definitely a great idea, I love how different they look from traditional wedding chair covers. I think my favourite is the one in pink!

Thank you Emilie, my highlights on the show were the fashion show and the decorations for the reception. I also like the jewerly that I saw and wished that I taken photos of as they goregous! Tips that I have learned that you can having different options for chair covers, instead of the bows, like using a broche, having a mesh cover, using picture frame as a possible option for wedding favors. I saw an old fashion keys as a wedding favors. I also like the idea of having signature drinks for cocktails for the guest to enjoy during the cocktail hour. There were some dress inspriation but not much based on the fashion show. There is a company called Hush that will design bridemaids dresses and you can pick out the design and color for your team. My favourite part of the expo was getting to talk to different experts in terms of decor, wedding cakes, dresses, suits for the grooms' party, and wedding favors. I learned that if you are ordering a wedding cake ot only order 75% of total number of guests that you will have to avoid waste.

I hope all this does help, as I am still learning more as I continue to plan the wedding.
