My wedding is tradition punjabi wedding, with festivities that last over span of three days. First is henna night where bride and all the females get together and get henna put on their hands, they sing and dance and put turmeric mask on bride to make her glow more (traditionally, but my makeup artist advised not to let them put it on my face as stain from turmeric can change color tone, LOL). Second day is the ceremony at sikh temple (gurudwara), where we get married in traditional red dress and sherwani. This is the best part, as I will get to learn and understand this ritual. I persoanlly have not sat through any of ceremonies yet. They tend to be really long sadly. Third is our reception which is all about food and dancing! Plus with 700 guest it better be LIT!
