Would you rather... get married on a Thursday or a Sunday?

Lynnie, on October 29, 2018 at 09:05 Posted in Plan a wedding 0 23

What would you do if Friday & Saturday were all booked up?? Which day of the week would you turn to next?

Would you rather.. . get married on a Thursday or a Sunday?

Next question: Would you rather... skip the shower or the bachelor(ette) party?

Sunday if I had to choose, most our guests are travelling and Thursday would mean more time off.

Sunday... because I'm not a huge partier, so I wouldn't feel bad ending the night a bit earlier, or people not getting hammered... However having all day Saturday/Sunday to get ready makes way more sense than Thursday.

Sunday! This way our guests could take Monday off to “recover” if need be rather than Thursday and Friday.

Sunday since the weekend can be enjoyed for the pre event partying and celebrate the final party the last day if the week.

Lazy Monday can be for resting and sleeping.

Considering that we're already getting married on a Sunday, I'd have to go with SUNDAY.

We are getting married on a Sunday.
However, it is a lunch wedding and it's also the day before Canada Day, but even if this wasn't the case I'd pick Sunday over Thursday so that people don't have to ask for the day off work

Sunday for sure. Weekend - less people having to request days off from work/skip school.

I guess probably a Sunday! Then my guests still have all day to get there and stuff. Maybe a few would take the Monday off.

Probably Thursday! We are getting married in a church and I'm not 100% sure if a Sunday would be allowed along with the usual masses

Sunday, that way it is easier for guests who would need to take off Monday instead of both Thursday and Friday.

A Thursday! That’s when we are getting married. I personally would rather go to a wedding on a Thursday as well. Sunday is my stay at home and relax day. Lol. When we were going to have a bigger wedding, we were going to do it on a Saturday. Now that it’s an out of town wedding with a smaller guest list, a Thursday is fine. Most people are coming and are excited for the mini vacation

I wouldn't mind a Thursday but I'd pick Sunday for pure convenience for our guests. We are having an afternoon wedding so if it was during the week lots of our guests would be at work.

I would rather get married on a Sunday. There are so many Monday's that people get off for work that it would just make sense.
