Would you rather... change your date or change your venue?

Lynnie, on October 29, 2018 at 09:05 Posted in Plan a wedding 0 22

This one is major! If you had to change either your wedding date or your wedding venue, which one would you change?

Would you rather... change your date or change your venue?

Next Question: Would you rather... invite all of your co-workers, or all of your parents' friends?

Neither, we were very limited on our date as my FH is military and we had to make sure he wasn't deployed so if it came down to it we would have changed our venue.

I’d rather change our date as our venue is lovely. I’m happy with the date my fiancé and I chose; however, I will admit we didn’t properly consider our anniversary date so the possibility of having our wedding on that day instead isn’t terrible!

IF I could change my vendors too without issue, my date. If I couldn't change my vendors to a new date, then venue.

I’d change the venue bc our date has sentimental value.

Hmmm tough choice. Changing the date would have made us not line up with our honeymoon, but I guess we could have changed that. I really like our venue, so probably changing the date.

I would change the date. Because the venue is what gives the whole ambiance of the wedding to it... i rather have my desired ambiance than my desired date.

Date. I was attached to my venue, not the date.

Change my date. We picked our date so that we could get our venue and I am honestly not fond of the April in Edmonton weather.

The venue. Don't get me wrong it is nice, and I'm excited to get married there, but my parents heavily influenced the decision (they know the owner and it's in their town) lol.

Change the date. I was super flexible with the date, but the venue once I had my heart set on something I like I wouldn't want to change that

I'm totally fine with both, but since I have to choose, I'll go with the wedding venue. A lot of people are coming from out of town (including us!), so the date is pretty important for vacation planning!

I would change my date. I have no sentimental attachment to the date. we just picked our date because the venue was available that day and it was a saturday in the winter. Also, I love our venue so much. I would not give it up for anything!

I would say... change my date. I love my date but I would totally be up for changing it to be sooner so that I could marry my love in March instead of October Smiley smile I could even put it on our dating anniversary!
