Mine are (my mom), but that's mainly because she's available to go run wedding errands with me. Unfortunately FH's parents live 1.5 hours away, so I'm not exactly going to be asking them to do wedding planning with me on a regular basis.

Neither are more or less involved. It's mostly us doing everything and they all help where they can.

My FH and I have done almost all of it alone, which is totally okay with me! I wish my mom was more involved and supportive but unfortunately at this moment, that's not the case. haha but she did say she would make our wedding cake and help put together centerpieces so that's a start! Smiley smile

We’re keeping our planning mostly between the 2 of us (I’ve been part of some nightmare weddings so am avoiding drama).

Mine! My parents are happy to encourage us to plan the wedding the way we want it, whereas his, not so much. So my parents tend to be included in more

They are both very involved, but I think the attitudes are different. FH's parentsare involved in a "let us plan everything" way, while my mom is just keen to talk about everything and offer her advice, opinions, and support. Thank god for my mom lol

Mine were and I dont know if that is because I am the bride, or because I was the first to get married in my family and he wasnt or just because they were more interested in being a part of it.

My parents, just because his parents left the beginning of this month to go tour the southern states for the winter so we can still call and text them about wedding planning stuff, but they can't attend any appointments with us

Mine for sure! I'm the only one getting married (my brother probably won't ever get married, but never say never!) so they are making a big deal of it.

His dad and sister have been helpful to us too, especially with their side of the guest list.

My FMIL because she just asks more questions and gives more opinions. But my aunt and uncle (who are being my parents for this) have asked questions, know everything that is going on. they are just more quiet and aren't giving opinions (saying "its your day. whatever you decide").

None. Both of his parents had passed and my parents are half the world away. My Fiance is not into planning so I have the whole ship to navigate.

My parents more over in laws. Any shopping done my side for outfits were gifts from my parents and the latest style trending. Any input or views given were from them based on my doings, though it was just suggestions to me.

They both know about the same amount. We don’t talk about our wedding very much. But if they ask something, we will answer lol

Mine for sure. His Dad probably won't even be getting the guest list together for us... come to think of it - I'm not sure his mom will either.... My parents will though! Thank god because I don't even know half of my relatives that will be invited.

My parents! My FH’s parents I think participated in ring conversations but that’s about it.

Granted, their only daughter just got married so the thought of another wedding might be overwhelming for them. Hoping they come around and are more involved later on.
