Totally me! We created the overall budget together and what we were willing to spend per category, but I've done all of the leg work in researching, and I do all of the math to make sure we're still on track

I’m definitely in charge. If my fiancé had his way we would be $500,000 in debt and invite every person we have ever known... bless him, he only wants a luxurious day to remember, but he is a groomzilla and out of control lol. The budget and spending stays with me. One thing I have allowed him to splurge on is his bachelor party, which actually worked out so well because he planned a 10 day vacation for our whole wedding party!

We had a 3-year engagement so that we didn't have to stress about finances and could enjoy being engaged. This has allowed me and my fiance to not to have to compromise on cost and to ensure each thing is paid off. We did have a rough budget and seem to be within it

Me. My parents are divorced, but they are splitting the wedding 50/50, so we got the budget from them before we started planning, and then I pretty much did the leg work for all of the planning. I run things by him, or he picks things that pertains to him, but if I give him choice, I've already made sure both choices are within budget, or what we'd have to adjust depending on what he wants to do. Surprisingly we are fairly 'on budget' still! 51 days out!

100% me. We created it together, but I chose how much was to be allocated for each specific aspect of our wedding.

I've been handling all the budgets with the vendors and we each have credit cards that we are responsible for paying off.

I will be in charge of it, I am better with finances and can see and explain why it is and if he doesn't agree I can see where I can get it down in places

We both are!! He definitely tells me though if something is too unreasonably priced and says no, which is okay! That's why we have a budget!

We both had input but I would have to say that I was in charge of the budget, especially when it came to searching out bargains.

Both. I suggested a budget and how much to put away each month, and he helped me fix it so we have extra money at Christmas time 😅

We both do! Might not be the most effective way of doing things but we carefully discuss every expense with one another

I am in charge of the budget, I don't thick he knows the grand total price for the entire day, but he knows what we are spending our money on and how much.

Me, although I check in with him when I need to. He is not into planning events let alone a wedding, which is fine because I’ve gone to school for event planning and it’s part of my job so this is my area of expertise. My worry though is that he isn’t as tuned in as I am as to what things actually cost (ex food, his one planning area), so he will be pretty shocked when it comes to that time!

That would be me. I discussed options with my husband but in the end I made most of the decisions to keep the cost down.

We both are, but I seem to be more careful about the prices. We don't really have a budget Smiley surprise but we just try to keep it very simple!
