Who did you share your engagement news with first?

Family. He proposed on Christmas. We had planned to do the calls to wish everyone a Merry Christmas right after finishing opening presents. He proposed as the last present. Made sense to stick with the original plan in sharing the big news!

One of our best friends was actually with us when FH proposed, so he knew first! As soon as we got home we both called our parents. Then called our best friends, and texted the others.

I'm not much of a phone person, and my best friend was working at a craft show when I called her. Her dad was with her and she was like "I have to take this, Melissa's calling, which means she's either engaged or something very bad happened." Thank god it was the first one!

We told family first and friends that are family.

Family! Though my mom didn't pick up the phone when I first called her so I had to call twice haha.

I tried to call my family group chat like 5 times and got really frustrated that no one answered me... Turns out they were in a taxi from the airport on their way to my house as a surprise my Fiancé had coordinated with our engagement 🤣

Well my fiancé told both of our families and he posted to social media all before he even proposed... but he proposed on Christmas Eve while we were with my family so my family was first to see from me although they all already saw and knew lol.

My fiance proposed on my birthday and had a big birthday supper planned with our closest friends and family. So almost everyone was told at the same time.

I three-way called my two best friends (both MOH) just a few minutes after it happened! Followed by my parents, then his.

Some of our friends were there for the engagement, but we definitely called parents before posting on FB lol

We shared with family first. We facetimed our parents and siblings, then called our grandmas and then we facetimed our best friends.
