Who did you share your engagement news with first?

We were on vacation when he proposed, and I phoned my kids as soon as I could and then my parents, then my best friend. Didn't post it on social media at any point - for me, this was something I wanted to let anyone know in person as we saw them.

My parents were the first to find out since they were on vacation in El Salvador at the time.
