White or Colourful: Bridesmaids Dresses?

Colour for sure. I am loving the thought of sequins and sparkle but most importantly I want them to be able to wear it again. So am hoping for nothing that screams 'bridesmaid dress'. Love how so many sites have bridesmaid dress sections now!

Bridesmaids

My sister is my MoH and didn't feel comfortable in the same dress the other girls picked (she's a heavier girl with no real waistline - my other plus sized BM has curves so liked the same dress as the two skinny girls!) - so she and I went back and picked a different dress that works next to the others.

Has similar lines - cross over bust, straps, long skirt.

I’m a fan of a neutral palette so my girls with be in sterling by Vera Wang. It’s a very light grey.

Colourful, my girls will wear lilac and his will wear plum

The bridesmaid dresses are colour. (Tiffany blue.) I wear white as the bride!

My ladies will be in burgundy, my niece (the flower girl) has a gold dress!

I don't think I would ever put my bridesmaids in white if I were wearing white.

I want colourful for sure! I'm not a big fan of the all white bridesmaids dresses.

My maid of honour wore dark blue and my flower girls gold dresses. so love colour, plus don't want the attention taken from the bride.

My girls are wearing ivory dresses. I wanted my girls in all ivory because for pictures I want our photos to look classic and put together. My MOH will be wearing a white floral gown to distinguish herself.

Colourful - I shall be the only one to wear white. If someone shows up wearing white at my wedding I would probably ask that they aren't in the pictures.... It's a wedding - who wears white to a wedding???? (Other than the bride/groom/flower girls/page boys)

Beautiful indian saris MOHs wore. Purple and the other wore aqua blue colour.

I’ve gone with long purple infinity dresses for my girls

Considered white as my dress is not white however we will be going a colour- just not sure which yet!

I don't have a bridal party, but my witness will be wearing a colourful maxi dress.

I'm only having one girl stand up for me so I just asked her to keep to black, grey or silver to go with our black and white theme

My girls will be in navy. I've conceded to them wearing their own dress choices, guided by length (floor length)/colour/fabric...

I always liked the look of the pale blush or nude bridesmaid dresses, but more for a mid-summer, outdoors wedding... Navy is better suited to our mid-January Vancouver evening wedding.

My bridesmaids are wearing burgundy dresses. My moh is wearing taupe.

I always wanted really soft colours.. like a pale yellow.

Then I realized I have two redheads in my bridal party and yellow wasn't a great idea. They've ended up in a silvery grey which is STUNNING. I love the soft, greyscale look we've ended up with with lights pop of yellow in the groomsmen ties and bouquets.
