The Bay, Le Chateau outlet, and you can think about getting a custom dress from a smaller boutique. My FMIL got a custom made dress for under $200.

My mom got her dress at Laura and she looks absolutely beautiful in it. She tried Davids Bridal but we both thought the quality at Laura was better. If your mom isn't a standard size the nice part is they have Plus & Petites too! My mom is 5'2 and bought her dress in the petites section - no alterations required!

If you're willing to go up to Newmarket, there's a consignment store called "Gowns Go Round" that has all things bridal (wedding dresses, bridesmaids, mother of the bride). The prices are all very reasonable for really good quality pieces.

My mom bought hers at a consignment store. I find the clothes at consignments to be in better condition than a thrift store. And, they can be designer dresses

Yeah 100% take a trip to a mall with your mom! Aside from the brands already listed some malls will have a random shop that might catch your eye and have just what you nees!

I agree with the bay or Laura. Or you could even try Marshall’s. But that’s a little hit or miss. Or do a google search to see if there are any smaller independent dress stores in your area.
